Can you tell me anything about the initiation experience? Has it changed over the past few years?
I recently visited the Grand Lodge in Boston and liked the people there.
I am a Freemason in the Boston area and the initiation experience has not changed at all. The culture of Freemasonry is becoming more open, but the ceremonies have remained the same. This is the foundation of the fraternity. It is the initiation experience which cements us to Freemasons such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and Paul Revere; and, it is the cement which binds us to Freemasons today throughout the world.
